2016 Tibooburra Chardonnay
This wine has trademark mineral quality with a hint of creaminess and subtle oak infusion. A lively but not overpowering natural acidic line, with citrusy / pomelo characters balanced by hints of nectarine and roasted cashew. The bouquet has floral and blossom notes with hints of kaffir lime.
2016 Tibooburra Pinot Noir
Opulent and seductive perfume: star anise, candied orange peel with underlying hints of cured meats and game. Soft, silky texture, with a sour cherry ripple. A beauty from a low yielding vintage.
2010 Tibooburra 3-clone Merlot
Made from 3 different clones, this elegant elder statesman has plum, cassis and mulberry characters, and a smooth mouth-feel thanks to fine, soft tannins. Rated 90 /100 by Huon Hooke in the SMH Good Food and Wine magazine.
2015 Solitude Shiraz
Like something out of the northern Rhone, with savoury and spice cupboard characters. “A perfumed, funky beast of a wine and one that I adored drinking over three nights,” says Ben Thomas of The Melbourne Weekly Review (93 points).
